This is 14" Hand Forged 3 Fullers Blade WW Battalion Khukuri. Battalion and Regimental Issue kukri is based on the WW1 2/10th and 1/6th Gurkha Battalion issued variants. In WW1 the 2/10th were forced into making kukri for themselves, and this is the style of kukri they opted for, a true Gurkhas kukri. The Battle of Aubers and Neuve Chapelle in France in 1915, and in Gallipoli at the Battle of Gully Ravine and Sari Bair in WW1 and many other places. The style was so popular that it carried through to WW2, seeing action in North Africa, Europe and Burma. This is replica version made in EGKH factory, blade will come with maker (black smith) signature in Nepali language.
