This Kothimora Kukri has"2ndGR" 2nd King Edward VII's Own Gurkha Rifles regimental badge on the top.Kothimora Khukuri (kukri) is always refered to the khukuri (kukri) which has the scabbard especially made from silver. There are different types of Gurkha Regiment in British Army better known as Brigade of Gurkhas, and they have their own Regimental Badges. This"2ndGR" 2nd Gurkha Rifles Regiment Kothimora Khukuri (kukri) is traditionally presented to the British and Gurkha Officers from his Regiment for his courage, sincerity and loyalty to the Regiment and the nation on his retirement. The work and the design of the silver on the scabbard are very immaculately done with the Regimental cap badges mounted on it. The colors of the respective Regiment are kept as a background using the high quality velvet.
