This is 3 chira wooden handle khukuri.This kukri made in eastern part of Nepal in bhojpure.Blade is simllar to bhojpure kukri like wide blade but it has uniqe line(chira)on blade .It makes very easy to cutting wood,meat,vegitable etc. The handle with full tank metal till end of handle so it is very stronge handle than other fixed blade kukri. The notch (kaura or kaudi) in the blade near the hilt of most khukuris serves as conduit for the blood on the blade to drip out, thus preventing it from soiling the hilt, as well as a device for catching and neutralizing and enemy blade.
