Gurkha Service Peace Keeper

The shape and size of kukri is similar to standard issue to British Gurkha (Service no 1), But the handle is made of  Rose wood and scabbard is of Desert color. This is the official issue to Gurkhas who where in peace keeping force. 10.5” blade is made of  highly graded carbon steel with pouring balance water temper on the edge so its very strong.5” Rat tail handle is made of very strong wood called “Rose-Wood”. Scabbard is made of yak-leather  which got two pocket  for two small knife ”karda”  Sharp one is for small type of work like skinning the animals, cutting paper etc and “Chakmak” blunt one is for sharpening the blade. This kukri can be used to cut meat, wood, firewood, bone, clearing bushes etc. The notch (kaura or kaudi) in the blade near the hilt of most khukuris serves as conduit for the blood on the blade to drip out, thus preventing it from soiling the hilt, as well as a device for catching and neutralizing and enemy blade.
