    Details

This 16 Inch Historical WW Hand Forged Khukuri newly invented of Ex-Gurkha Khukuri House. This is the replica version of the kukri carried by Gurkhas in hand-to-hand combat in the Jungle of Nepal during the 1st World War. This is most historically model khukuri (kukri) which gave gurkhas and whole Nepalese people are the victory of gurkhas during the 1st war time. Probably the most renowned fighting knife in the world is the kukri, the wickedly curved kukri of the Gurkhas of Nepal. It is Historic Kukri. The blade is flat, light by weight and comfortable to carry. In the wartime, the sight of this formidable Khukuri in the hands of the Gurkha soldiers was enough to bring the enemy at their wit's ends. This Kukri is a very famous knife among tourists and collectors because of the fact that it was actually used by Gurkha soldiers/army during first world wars. This Kukri knife played a very significant role in creating the history of the Gurkhas. This Kukri was also great to use for any kind of heavy or light duty. The water poured temper on the blade makes it very strong. The handle is very stronger then 2nd world war kukri. Basically carried in a leather case, mostly walnut wooden grip and traditionally having two small knives and the blade is made of highly graded carbon steel (mostly used in railway tracks). Besides carrying the knife in war time, this blade can be used to chop wood or bone cleaning bushes.
