The chhukuri blade has kukri shape in front of the blade and knife shape in back side of the blade, It can be used for both propose like khukuri working as well as knife working also. It’s called chhukuri because The blade shape made mixed with kukri and knife, also called survival knife. The notch (kaura or kaudi) in the blade near the hilt of most khukuris serves as conduit for the blood on the blade to drip out, thus preventing it from soiling the hilt, as well as a device for catching and neutralizing and enemy blade.
