This is one of the special product of Ex-Gurkha Khukuri House(EGKH).This 12 inch blade panawal balance wooden handle kukri.This is one of the most beautiful shaped Khukuri.The handle of this khukuri and the blade is equal.While you put your finger in the middle of the blade it will be balance.hence it is called Balance Khukuri.It is said that “when you throw this khukuri it goes in an exact target therefore it is used for hunting.It’s very difficult to make the handle and the blade equal.It is not military knife so this is mostly used for decoration.All Khukuris have two pockets on the back of the scabbard which hold a blunt steel called “chakmak” for sharpening the blade or for striking spark from flint and a little knife known as “karda” used for skinning small animals . The notch (kaura or kaudi) in the blade near the hilt of most khukuris serves as conduit for the blood on the blade to drip out, thus preventing it from soiling the hilt, as well as a device for catching and neutralizing and enemy blade.
