ngIn 1814 warriors from Nepal’s eastern region participated in the civil wars. In the 1st World War Rai & Limbu people from the Nepalese eastern region participated in the British Gurkha Army. They used this khukuri to fight in the war. Today, that period still reigns in the hearts of Nepalese. This khukuri can easily cut 4 inches or “four fingers” also known “CHAR AMAL” deep, which means death with a single swing. Most Limbus prefer this khukuri as their cultural diaspora.
