This custom-made large Bardiche Poleaxe has a blunt axehead of high carbon steel which is stoutly mounted and pinned to a hardwood haft.
The Bardiche is easily one of the hardest-hitting axe types due to its large and hefty blade and this example is mounted to a longer pole than most to give the wielder even more reach and leverage. Though similar axes existed throughout Europe the dual-socketed and most recognizable form of the Bardiche was associated with Eastern Europe and Russia. Some were known to have been exported into Scotland in the 16th and 17th centuries.

Like many polearms, it may have had its origins as a farm and field tool. In the case of the Bardiche, its origins likely were among the large and broad-bladed cleaving axes used by butchers to cleanly behead cattle.
 • Razor Sharp Edge- The blade of this potent Knife is constructed of high-grade 5160 leaf spring carbon steel and was hand-forged in Nepal utilizing age-old techniques. It is ready to use, extremely sharp, and perfect for outdoor pursuits including hiking, camping, and many more.

• Superior Quality- The Blade features an aesthetically beautiful but incredibly tough design and is built of high-carbon leaf spring steel. A gorgeous rosewood handle with a blade attached to it offers a secure grip. It has a chic leather scabbard that won’t rip when you sheath and unsheathe the razor-sharp blade. To ensure its sturdiness and durability, the Knife has been put through a number of tests.

• Genuine and Expertly Made- Each Knife is individually handcrafted in Nepal, the Gurkha homeland, by talented sword smiths. This Majestic Blade was created by the Vishwakarma ethnic group known as “Born Kukri Makers.”

• Dependable and Versatile- This striking knife can be used for a variety of tasks, including hunting, decorating homes or collections, and household chores.
