This is one of the new invention product of Ex-Gurkha Khukuri House(EGKH.). The blade of this khukuri is same as Bhojpure Khukuri\kukri. However, the blade is different than Bhojpure. It is forged in a different manner like two Fuller and is perhaps one of the most difficult to craft. The blade comes with original temper blades. The handle is combination of Aluminum & Rose Wood, where the metal of the blade in the handle area is flat and not narrow and pointed as in other knives (full tang). The blade is therefore visible all around the handle. The handle is joined strongly to the blade with two metal rivets that can also be seen at the sides. Especially on this khukuri, there is a hole for the lanyard in the handle. Fine quality refine buffalo leather covered inside wood come with this kukri. The handle is very unique than to other regular model. Especially it has bocker guard on the handle. All Khukuris have two pockets on the back of the scabbard which hold a blunt steel called “chakmak” for sharpening the blade or for striking spark from flint and a little knife known as “karda” used for skinning small animals such as rabbits. The notch (kaura or kaudi) in the blade near the hilt of most khukuris serves as conduit for the blood on the blade to drip out, thus preventing it from soiling the hilt, as well as a device for catching and neutralizing and enemy blade. This khukuri was made by highly skilled craftsmen of Eastern part of Nepal. This khukuri is very beautiful and this is real working blade’s of nepalese farmer.
