This kukri is Current Issue to Nepal Army Ranger Traning. This is 9 inch blade light blade kukri simmalr to Nepal Army service kukri but this is rust free blade with both side sharp on the top of blade for commando tactical issue. The handle is made os rosewood with full tang blade. The notch (kaura or kaudi) in the blade near the hilt of most khukuris serves as conduit for the blood on the blade to drip out, thus preventing it from soiling the hilt, as well as a device for catching and neutralizing and enemy blade.
